Andrew Cohen, AIA
Project Architect
Andrew has taken a lead role in major housing projects at the firm. He brings a breadth of experience on projects from conception through completion to his role as Project Architect. He is adept at preparing clear and comprehensive construction documents, and his attention to detail and responsiveness to inquiries keeps a project on schedule. Always upbeat, Andrew catalyzes teams by bringing out the best in everyone and keeping the team focused on achieving common goals.
Before joining Rowell Brokaw, Andrew worked in the Boston area for ADD Inc., which later became Stantec, on complex, multi-phase commercial projects, including mid-rise housing, high-rise housing, and high-rise Class A office buildings. In addition to architecture, Andrew has a keen interest in real estate development. He regularly performs feasibility studies and analyzes proformas in search of opportunities to improve neighborhoods and increase a community’s housing stock. Andrew has a B.A. in Studio Arts from Rollins College and a M.Arch from the University of Oregon. His volunteer experience includes leading a cross-country bike trip from Virginia to Oregon with the non-profit Bike & Build, raising money for affordable housing, and participating on build sites across the country.
