Construction Update: Pipeworks Studios' Remodel

Visual tour of Pipeworks Studios’ remodeled Downtown Eugene space. The once dilapidated downtown department store has been transformed into a light-filled, collaborative workspace with exposed timbers, wood decking, and structural steel columns.

Pipeworks art is starting to populate the central area—vinyl wrap at the cantilever walls.

A social staircase rises in this new double-height space. The completed stair will have pickled/aged powder-coated sheet metal panels wrapping glulam treads. Skylights provide daylight to the middle of the almost-windowless building.

The remodel adds dedicated team rooms as landing zones for hybrid or remote workers, multiple large team meeting spaces, a Living Room launch party meeting room connected to a full kitchen and bar, a Garage meeting room for public events, a team store, and room to house over 250 employees in downtown Eugene for the growing Pipeworks team.

The interior features bold colors, shapes, textures, furniture, and lighting accents reflect the Pipeworks Studios’ quirky, creative, Pacific Northwest, gaming-company culture.

With some delays due to supply chain issues, the 1st Floor Phase is expected to wrap up in December 2022. Future phases will address furniture and finishes on the 2nd floor and Basement. The building has a complete mechanical upgrade and new roof.
