Julia Payton

Julia’s technical skills combined with her ability to listen and respond to clients enable her to create compelling interior designs. Her love of research and evaluating industry trends informs her ability to develop designs that are innovative, functional, and sustainable. With 7 years of experience, she is well-versed in the phases of the design process, from initial concept development and space planning to material selection and project coordination. She brings extensive experience in various sectors, including K-12 schools, higher education facilities, student housing, affordable housing, senior living, mixed-use developments, and hospitality projects such as wine bars and small office tenant improvements.

Julia obtained her B.S. in Interior Design from Colorado State University. Before joining the Rowell Brokaw’s interiors team, she worked for BLRB Architects and Ankrom Moisan. For the past eight years, she has been living and working in Bend, Oregon.
