RBA Welcomes Julia Payton
Julia recently joined the Rowell Brokaw interiors team!
Julia’s technical skills, ability to listen and respond to clients, love of research and evaluating industry trends, all combine to create compelling and innovative interior designs. With 7 years of experience, Julia brings deep experience in various sectors, including K-12 schools, higher education facilities, student housing, affordable housing, senior living, mixed-use developments, hospitality projects such as wine bars, and small office tenant improvements.
Julia obtained her B.S. in Interior Design from Colorado State University. Before joining the Rowell Brokaw’s interiors team, she worked for BLRB Architects and Ankrom Moisan. For the past eight years, she has been living and working in Bend, Oregon.
Since joining Rowell Brokaw, Julia has been working on many projects, including 811 Willamette, a major tenant improvement and building systems upgrade to a classic mid-century Eugene downtown building, and Flock 13, a new, mixed-use building near the University of Oregon's west entrance.
Outside of work, Julia loves staying connected with friends, cooking (she has been dubbed the “salad queen”), walking with her husky named Hobbes, and doing all things outdoors.
