RBA Welcomes Pavitra Jairaj
Pavitra recently joined the Rowell Brokaw interiors team!
Pavitra brings a holistic approach to design, with a profound appreciation for the intersection of functionality and aesthetic appeal. Her designs are characterized by empathy and a sensitivity to the user’s experience. The ability to translate ideas into tangible visual representations has always been a source of fascination for her. Pavitra has outstanding drawing skills that complement her digital work. In addition to design and visualization, she excels at project management, detailing, and documentation. A diligent and collaborative worker, Pavitra skillfully integrates the interiors with the larger building, site, and human context.
After receiving a Bachelor of Architecture from Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, Pavitra worked for STAPATI, an architecture firm in India, whose hospitality projects have garnered international acclaim. She decided to pursue a Master of Interior Architecture from the University of Oregon to further her exposure and understanding of architecture. She was featured in the 2024 METROPOLIS Future100, which recognizes the top 100 architecture and interior design students graduating in North America.
Since joining Rowell Brokaw, Pavitra has been working on many projects, including the YMCA Veterans Housing and the City of Springfield Office Quad Redesign.
