The ballot box opens at 5pm today for the annual People's Choice Awards for Architecture, which is celebrating its 25th year!

Held at the Lane County Home Improvement Show, a new venue for the PCA event, over 30 boards have been entered including four boards by Rowell Brokaw Architects. Opening at 5pm today (Friday, 10/10) at the Lane Events Center and running through Sunday, attendees have the opportunity to view a diverse mix of design projects created within the Southwestern Oregon Chapter Area.

Each year, the American Institute of Architects, Southwestern Oregon Chapter (AIA-SWO) in collaboration with the American Society of Landscape Architects, Willamette Valley Section of the Oregon Chapter (ASLA) sponsors the People’s Choice Awards for Architecture. The intent of the People’s Choice Awards is to educate and inspire the community by showcasing architecture, interiors, and landscape architecture projects created within the Southwestern Oregon Chapter area by AIA, ASLA, or AIAS members. The program demonstrates to the public the role of the design professions in enhancing the built environment.

So come on down and cast a vote for your favorite architecture, interiors and landscape architecture projects. All votes will be counted and winners recognized at the October AIA-SWO Chapter Meeting and on the AIA SWO Chapter's website
