Kevin O’Hara

Designer

Kevin is a designer by trade and a traveler by heart. His professional experience spans both American continents and Africa, where he has cultivated a focus on humanitarian design. Driven by a deeply rooted mission to create a more equitable and healthier built environment, Kevin combines a passion for vernacular and non-western design with emergent technologies. Over the past ten years as a designer, Kevin has worked on a wide range of projects, from prefabricated schools in rural Uganda to large-scale retail and commercial projects in the States.

Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon. With a minor in Global Sustainability, he pursued independent research in sustainable design and mass timber and expanded his technical acuity of GIS mapping and parametric modeling. Professionally, Kevin has worked on award-winning projects with Studio FH Architects (Kampala, Uganda) and INTEC Group Architects (Chantilly, VA).
