Hult Center Lighting project wins IES Illumination Award
The Hult Center Lighting Master plan received an IES Illumination Award of Merit earlier this month. The IES award program recognizes individuals for professionalism, ingenuity and originality in lighting design based on the individual merit of each entry.
Judges are selected from a broad professional spectrum that represents knowledge of lighting and design excellence. The judging system is based entirely on how well the lighting design does or does not meet the program criteria.
All projects receive levels of recognition attained by consensus judge scores. 2014 IES Illumination Award Recipients complete list here.
- Section Award – awarded at the local section level to recognize commendable
achievement in lighting design. - Award of Merit - awarded to recognize meritorious contribution to lighting design.
Projects receiving sufficient scores continue on to be judged at the final level.
