1st Round of Steel Goes Up at Northwest Community Credit Union
The first round of steel columns and beams are being lifted into place at the Northwest Community Credit Union's Support Center located in downtown Eugene. Steel goes up fast, so by the time of this posting, the beams are likely to be covered with metal decking. Coordination will be under way for penetrations and blockouts in the concrete pour for the ground floor deck. The remainder of the structural steel (floors 2 through 4) is due on site soon and will be lofted into place over the next month or two.
