NWCU construction begins with The Big Dig
The Big Dig.
Construction of Northwest Community Credit Union Support Center has begun with digging the hole for the basement level. Andersen Construction is the CM/GC. The building in the background is the Wayne Lyman Morse United States Courthouse designed by Morphosis. To the left in the image is 8th avenue. 8th Avenue is planned to be the "walk" to the river. The NWCU Support Center will support this vision with a mix of uses including a credit union branch, a retail space, and a community room and courtyard along this urban path between the center of downtown and the river. We will keep you posted on the progress.
