Sunday Streets Downtown Event with 1st Ever Bike Crit

The One East Broadway building where Rowell Brokaw offices are located served as a backdrop to the first ever Downtown Criterium this past weekend. As part of the  Eugene Sunday Streets Downtown, a free community event sponsored by the City of Eugene, these fun-filled, fast-paced events helped to transform almost three miles of roads into a car-free venue for an afternoon of recreation, exercise, and fun in the streets and parks of the Downtown Eugene. The "TrackTown City Center" elite mile running race and "Rolf Prima Downtown Criterium" bicycle race right in the streets of Downtown. Other highlights of the event include a large activity center in Kesey Square featuring a bike obstacle course, pedal powered music, and a beer garden. The turnout was great as many people came out in beautiful weather to either participate, spectate, or celebrate at the 3rd annual Eugene Sunday Streets event!
