Frank Visconti (formerly from NYC) joins Rowell Brokaw

 

Frank recently joined Rowell Brokaw as a Project Architect. He has broad experience in architectural design, interior design, furniture design, and construction administration. Frank is from New York City and has worked at several firms including Gwathmey Siegel and, most recently, Peter Marino Architect.  He has had integral roles on projects ranging from a new 2.5 million square foot campus in Singapore to many unique residential projects published in Architectural Digest.  He also started a boutique practice which won several AIA design awards for residential, commercial and institutional projects in New York.

Frank’s 26 year background in all phases of design include a synthesis of architectural and interior design.  He has worked with complex materials, artisans and high tech systems in a broad range of projects from New York, Florida, Connecticut, Los Angeles and Aspen, Colorado.

Frank was born in New York City and recently moved with his family to Eugene.  He graduated Cum Laude from Syracuse University School of Architecture and included studies in Florence, Italy. He received a 5-year  Bachelor’s of Architecture degree and won the AIA Henry Adams Medal and Luther Gifford Prize for graduating top in his class.  Among several AIA awards, he received a Florida AIA design award for an unbuilt Elementary School project which he designed as his Undergraduate Thesis.

Frank has served on the Board of Directors for AIA chapters in New York and Florida and has participated in design juries at several architectural schools. He has had extensive travels abroad including Europe, South America, Middle East and Asia and speaks fluent Spanish and Italian.
