The City Hall design team recently presented a project update to Eugene City Council and gathered input on the project's design direction. Members of the design team will be available at drop-in community sessions in north and south Eugene to present the conceptual images and materials, and answer any questions about the project.
Design team members especially want to hear residents’ thoughts about how Eugene City Hall can be a welcoming and engaging place—one that connects to the heart of our local identity. Below are two upcoming Open House events to put on your calendar; the same material will be covered at both events.
Eugene City Hall - Open House #1 | South Eugene
Monday, February 24 from 4:30-6:30pm
Downtown Library, Bascom-Tykeson Room, 100 W 10th Avenue
Eugene City Hall - Open House #2 | North Eugene
Tuesday, February 25 from 4:30-6:30pm
Cal Young Middle School, Cafeteria, 2555 Gilham Road
Using public input and the feedback from City Council, the design team will be developing a design for Eugene City Hall during these next few months, and looks forward to sharing that with the public in April 2014. A link to the presentation materials for the Council work session is available on the project website.
