Sieberling Recreation Center
Glade Run Lutheran Services is located in Zelienople, Pennsylvania and offers a number of educational and supportive services to traumatized youth and individuals with environmental and other sensitivities.
Currently, Rowell Brokaw Architects is working on three Glade Run projects in collaboration with George Braddock of Creative Housing Solutions. The Siberling Recreation Center, Jeremiah Village Master Plan and Glade Run Park.
The 25,000 sf recreation center located on the Glade Run campus is intended to provide elements of inclusive design. The layout of the classrooms with respect to the gym allow for an open and friendly environment that facilitates frequent and flexible use for the students and teachers. The recreation center is more than a "gym"—it is a flexible space with a multitude of uses including community functions and larger ceremonies that require appropriate gathering space.
The vision for the exterior is to provide a welcoming landmark on the Glade Run campus that looks forward to a bright future while respecting the deep and rich history of the organization.
